Day 1: Arrival in Kampala
Arrival in Entebbe where you will be met by a member of our team and transferred to your hotel to recuperate from the journey.
Depending on travel time, you may have a city tour.
Overnight is foreseen at Serena Hotel Kampala or Protea by Marriott Entebbe
Day 2: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park.
Depart Kampala very early for Murchison Falls National. This is a five to six hours’ drive. You will have lunch in Masindi and later continue to the park. You will have the opportunity to walk to the falls before you check in your hotel for an overnight.
Optional Activity:
En-route to Masindi ~3 hours’ drive out of Kampala you will stop at the Ziiwa Rhino Sanctuary to track Rhinos before proceeding to Masindi for lunch.
Visit the magnificent Top of the falls.
Day 3: Game drive and launch cruise
After an early breakfast, you will have a game drive through the delta circuit, reputably known for high concentrations of wildlife.
What to expect;
Lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda Kobs, chimpanzees and monkeys.
In the afternoon, you will go for the superb launch cruise on the Nile. In addition to taking you close to the base of the waterfall, the 3-hour launch trip follows a stretch of the Nile with a compelling African atmosphere. Game viewing is excellent.
What to expect:
- Hippos in their hundreds
- Some of the largest Nile crocodiles left in Africa,
- Small herds of buffalo, waterbuck, and kob

Day 4: Travel to Kibale National Park through Hoima.
Travel Time: 8 Hours.
Uganda is the primate capital of East Africa and Kibale National park alone is home to thirteen primate species.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Today after an early breakfast, you will track the chimps and later in the afternoon, go for a swamp walk and bird viewing in Bogodi Swamp.
Overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale /Kyaninga Lodge
Day 6: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Leave Kibale via Fort Portal town which is perhaps the most attractive town in Uganda, situated amid lush rolling hillsides swathed in neat tea plantations, and offering excellent views across to the glacial peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains to the West.
Day 7: Game drive & launch Cruise
After an early breakfast, go for a game drive
Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in Western Uganda on the border with DRC Congo. It is one of Uganda’s most varied and lovely protected areas. Its location is superb on the floor of the albertine Rift valley at the foot of the snow –capped Rwenzori Mountain between lakes Edward and George.
What to expect;
- 604 species of birds like the African fish eagle, yellow billed stork among others.
- Primates
- Cats like lions, Leopard, serval etc.
- Canid like side stripped jackal
- Civets, Genets and mongooses.
- Elephants.
Day 8: Optional balloon Safari and game drive in Ishasha
During the game drive, expect to see tree climbing lions

Day 9: Travel to Bwindi
You will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Kihihi.
Day 10: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi.
Tracking is a captivating and unforgettable experience which more than repays the effort needed to reach Bwindi. Gorilla tracking starts at 8:30 AM and can last a few hours to a whole day depending on where the gorillas were left the previous day.
Day 11: Travel to Lake Mburo
Mburo National Park is a gem of a park conveniently located close to the Western Highway with a wealth of wildlife in a tropical setting in the middle of an extensive rich acacia woodland. The park also has an impressive bird list (332 species) including shoebill, papyrus, yellow warbler, African fin foot, saddle billed stork, brown chested wattled plover among others.
Check in and have lunch at the Lodge: Rwakobo Rock
At 4:00pm take a boat trip on Lake Mburo. This will last about 2 hours where you will get a chance to see a variety of wildlife e.g. crocodiles, hippos and birds like the African Fish Eagle, African fin foot, cormorants, kingfishers, herons etc.
If time allows, you will have an evening game drive
Day 12: Leisurely morning and travel to Kampala.
Travel to Kampala making a stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity.
